I am Fisnik Zharku, known as Fissi for short.
My childhood unfolded in Skopje at my grandmother’s house until the age of 10.
At 12, a fascination with computers ignited within me, fueled by reading magazines about personal computers without the ability to physically engage with them.
My initial personal computer was an aged 386 and 486 machine, void of graphical interfaces, projecting black screens with DOS commands.
The introduction of Windows 3.11, 95, and 98 was an exhilarating revelation.
This early passion for computers has persistently motivated me throughout life, steering me through significant technological shifts and challenges. It laid the foundation for a lifelong commitment to technology, propelling me to face and embrace its swift evolution.
Beyond my tech journey, I cultivated diverse passions – from automobiles, content writing, and travel to venturing into startups.
My professional journey is equally diverse, ranging from a small mechanic and sales roles to a travel agent and the establishment of my travel agency.
Venturing into entrepreneurship, I created businesses focusing on hardware sales and services.
My career path expanded into journalism, working as a reporter for newspapers and radio, with stories about new cars standing out as cherished memories.
Furthermore, for about nine years, I served as a network and systems administrator in the municipality of Kacanik, where I became the creator of the first internet provider during the early post-war days in Kosovo when internet access was limited.
In recent years, my focus has sharply shifted towards cybersecurity, specifically in OSINT research and threat intelligence. This newfound concentration has added a dynamic layer to my multifaceted professional journey.
I remain highly motivated, consistently embracing new challenges as they come my way.
It is my pleasure to share my experiences, aspiring to motivate the new generation to achieve their life goals.
